Recently my wife and I had a baby. And through Facebook, I was able to keep our love ones in the look. It was really exciting to see the energy built from simple updates I called "BABY WATCH 2008".
This experience really confirms that an intimate community can occur in a virtual world. Twitter is another tool that is simply a status update of 140 characters or less. You can follow The Venue on twitter.
